Hello! My name is Karim and I am a foodie extraordinaire. I will be posting all about the hottest new restaurants in LA, rating my experiences from 1-10. The ambiance of the place, the flavors, and my overall experience will be a factor in my ratings. Food has always been a big part of my life growing up in a household where home cooked meals were a must. Every meal was carefully made with extra love. Food is more than 3 meals a day, its an art form, an act of kindness, a symbol of family and friendship. If you feel this way too, you are a certified foodie! Recently I went to this spot in Wilmington CA called Mi Pueblito. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by staff as if I was family. The traditional Mexican decor mixed with the decadent smell of spices, immediately made me feel at home. Mi Pueblito is most known for there chilaquiles dish, so naturally I had to order that. Upon taking my first bite, the fresh salsa verde mixed with the queso fresco made my taste buds explode! The sour cream on top added a nice cold touch that tied the dish together. Overall my experience at Mi Pueblito was a 9/10. They really out did themselves starting from the welcoming service, to the delicious food.
